01 — Open source

Web application

E-Commerce Open-Source Project

Full-stack developer

An open-source full-stack e-commerce system.

Designed and built a Django REST Framework backend and React frontend, with RESTful APIs for product management, authentication, checkout, and order processing.
Integrated Stripe test-mode card payments with webhook handling, idempotency mechanisms, and payment reconciliation to improve transaction reliability.
Implemented scheduled operations and background processing with Celery, Redis, and Celery Beat.
Containerized backend services with Docker Compose and deployed the application using AWS EC2 and Cloudflare Pages.
Automated deployments with GitHub Actions, reducing manual deployment time from approximately 20 minutes to 3 minutes.
Applied API contract design, automated testing, architectural diagramming, and technical documentation.

Containerized the development environment to keep setup consistent across the team.
